Scoil Mhuire Girls' NS

Principal's Welcome

Fáilte! Welcome to our newly designed school website.Image.jpg

We are delighted to have this space on the World Wide Web where we can share our School News and Events. It will be a window on our school for our pupils and their families, for all those who support us in our school community and beyond. Scoil Mhuire is a busy place of learning from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. We hope you will enjoy the wide variety of interesting and fun learning activities and projects we do in all classes in Scoil Mhuire, throughout the year, from different areas of the Primary School Curriculum, including Languages; English, Irish and Irish Sign Language (ISL), Science, Technology and Maths (STEM), History, Geography and the Creative Arts: Music, Art and Drama.
Wellbeing and Inclusion are two areas that we are working on at present, so we will keep this in mind in all we are doing, for all members of our school community.

Finally we are eager to include all voices as we continue to review and develop our school policies and practices. I encourage you to participate in any way you can through our Parents Association or by completing school surveys.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Deputy Principal, Ms. Dalton for all her work in the background over the last year to get our super new website to this point. Thank you also to all our parents whose contributions to the Parents Association have funded this new website.
Thank you also to the members of our Board of Management who generously volunteer their time for Scoil Mhuire.

Best wishes to all our Staff, Pupils and their families
