World Down Syndrome Day at Scoil Mhuire Girls' N.S.
On Friday, 21st March, we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with a fun and meaningful 'Odd Socks' event. Students and staff proudly wore mismatched socks and raised €665 for Down Syndrome Ireland through their generous donations.
We were also delighted to have Ella O'Donnell and Éabha Murphy visit 2nd to 5th classes to share a special presentation they created about Down Syndrome, helping to raise awareness and understanding across the school.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the celebrations and for supporting this important cause!
