There was great excitement in school on Thursday 2nd March as the pupils and staff of Scoil Mhuire GNS celebrated World Book Day. Pupils at every class level dressed up as their favourite characters and there were costumes of every variety on show, from Rapunzel and her fairytale princess friends, to Harry Potter, the Enormous Crocodile, Dogman, Artemis Fowl and everything in between . As well as dressing up, our pupils were invited to bring their favourite books to school and to show and discuss them in their classes. A great day was had by all, and the occasion was another lovely addition to our Ready Steady Read Festival which will run until the end if March.
