Claire Sherry and the girls from 4th, 5th and 6th classes performed a wonderful seisiún ceoil for all the classes in the school. This special performance marked the beginning of Seachtain na Gaeilge in our school and was a joyful celebration of Irish music and culture.
The musicians entertained the audience with a lively selection of traditional tunes. Some of the crowd favourites included Fáinne Geal an Lae, Peigí Leitir Móir, the Kerry Polka, and Killeagh.
We were also treated to fantastic performances from our Irish dancers, who entertained everyone with their energetic reels and jigs. The hall was filled with excitement as students and staff enjoyed the music and dancing together.
It was a wonderful way to begin Seachtain na Gaeilge and to celebrate our rich musical traditions as a school community.
