Ready Steady Read 2026

We are thrilled to announce the return of our Ready Steady Read festival, now in its fourth year! Running from February 9th to March 6th, this exciting event has become a true highlight of our school calendar and is also our largest fundraising event of the year.

This year, Ready Steady Read will once again celebrate the joy of reading for all our pupils, from the most confident readers to those who need a little extra support. By embracing a wide variety of genres—from picture books, novels, and short stories, to comics, graphic novels, and audiobooks—our goal is to make reading accessible, fun, and enjoyable for EVERYONE.

We have an exciting programme of events planned, including a Book Swap, our Book Tasting event and of course our Readalong fundraiser will also return.

Thank you for your ongoing support—let’s make this year’s Ready Steady Read the best yet!
