Immersive Writer's Workshops Spark Creativity at Scoil Mhuire Girls' N.S. Lucan!
The Ready Steady Read Festival continues in Scoil Mhuire and on March 14th, our students in Ms. Lyons', Ms. Foy's, and Ms. Campion's classes embarked on an enriching literary journey right from their classrooms. Thanks to the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI), we had the pleasure of hosting virtual writer's workshops facilitated by the esteemed Irish author and artist, Lily Cahill.
Under Lily's expert guidance, our students immersed themselves in storytelling and artistic expression, exploring various techniques and approaches to crafting compelling tales. Through games and interactive activities, they uncovered new avenues for self-expression and honed their creative skills.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to MoLI for enabling this enriching literary experience. Their commitment to promoting literacy and nurturing a love for literature among young learners is truly commendable.
A special thank you also to Lily Cahill for her infectious enthusiasm and engagement with our pupils. Her expertise and passion for the arts left a lasting impression on our students, inspiring them to embrace their wonderful imagination and creativity.
