On April 24th, our Green Schools Committee worked together with local volunteers from Lucan Tidy Towns to plant some flowers in the flowerbeds around our school entrance. Bríd and Joe helped the committee to plant geraniums and trailing lobelias and taught the pupils how to prepare the bed and water the plants. The committee will look after the flowerbeds for Term 3 and are looking forward to doing some more planting in the coming weeks.
Thank you to Lucan Tidy Towns for working with our Green Schools Committee.
