Our after-school coding club entered the Fís Film Project in Term 3 last year. The Fís Film Project is a competition open to all primary schools where pupils create a short movie about a topic of their choice. We were delighted to hear the news that their film ‘Disconnected’ was judged highly commended and the girls received a trophy for their movie. The girls worked in many roles, from writing the script, planning the costumes, designing props, working on set design, acting, directing, editing and coding Scratch projects to include in the movie.
To enter, the film had to be less than 5 minutes long so the girls had to ensure they could tell the story in a clear, concise way. We hope you enjoy the movie and we hope the girls will continue to use their creativity in coding and film as they get older.
