As part of our involvement in Creative Schools, artist Chloe Winders visited the school and created a bright and engaging mural inspired by the ideas of our pupils. Pupils from 3rd - 6th class created drawings which were then sent to Chloe and she took inspiration from these when designing the artwork for the mural. Chloe worked on the mural over two days and pupils and staff enjoyed seeing the process in action. At the start of our Creative Schools journey, pupils across the school brainstormed ideas for how to make our school a more creative place. Our Creative Schools Committee then analysed the responses and focused on the common theme of making our outdoor grounds brighter, more fun and interactive. The mural has really brightened up our outdoor grounds with colourful illustrations and inspiring messages.
A huge thank you to artist Chloe Winders and our Creative Associate Melanie May for organising this mural.
