Cosy Day in Scoil Mhuire

On Friday, February 27th, we enjoyed a special Cosy Day across the school, celebrating our shared love of reading in a relaxed and comfortable way.

The pupils arrived in their cosiest clothes, ready to snuggle up with a good book and share in the magic of storytelling. There was such a lovely atmosphere throughout the school — calm, happy, and full of excitement for reading.

As a whole school, we shared the beautiful story After the Fall, which sparked thoughtful discussions and plenty of smiles. It was wonderful to see every class engaged and to watch our pupils so completely immersed in their favourite books.

Moments like these remind us just how powerful and special reading can be. It truly was a heart-warming day for everyone involved.
