Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Student Council organise the Christmas Shoebox Appeal
Christmas Shoebox Appeal

The Student Council of Scoil Mhuire GNS organised the Christmas Shoebox Appeal in aid of Team Hope again this year. Team Hope’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal is an annual campaign that delivers gifts straight into the hands of children affected by poverty. Pupils from 3rd - 5th class put great effort into creating shoeboxes filled with carefully selected items such as hats, gloves, soap, notepads, colouring pencils, cuddly toys, and tasty treats. The Student Council gathered up all of the boxes and they were collected by John from Team Hope on Thursday, November 9th.

Have a look at the pictures to see the colourful collection of boxes. Well done to the Student Council, Mrs. Markey and Ms. Millea for organising this and a well done to all the pupils from 3rd - 5th Class who created such thoughtful gifts.
