Bebras Final

Scoil Mhuire GNS were delighted to learn that six of our pupils qualified for the Bebras Challenge Final held at Maynooth University on Saturday May 6th 2023. Emily O'Beirne, Emma Lim, Gemma Corr, Sophie Meleady, Kriti Tummala, and Vanessa Gladney took part in the final round challenges and were awarded certificates for their participation. The Bebras Computing Challenge introduces computational thinking to students, by allowing them to solve interactive tasks online. It is run in over 60 countries and takes place every November. Pupils from Third to Sixth Class took part in our school. The tasks can be answered without prior knowledge about computational thinking or information and communication technology. Bebras aims to get students all over the world excited about computing. Well done to the finalists!
